19th October 2016Indirect lighting plays an important role in making dream living spaces a reality. Davuka, supply high-quality skirting, cornice and panel mouldings, indirect lighting profiles and decorative elements, offers a multi-dimensional range in this area with a wide variety of solutions to create inspiring and unique spaces.
Indirect lighting creates a distinctive atmosphere in that it allows specific areas to be highlighted with a diffused, ambient light source that illuminates in a unique way. One of the greatest things about this type of lighting is the mood that is created when used within a particular space – its subtle charm adding to the overall effect as it works with the different architectures, surface structures and colour schemes. From a technical point of view there are a range of possibilities: individual or strip lighting, spotlighting or surface illumination, linear or organic light direction, beams directed upward or downward. Every room wins in this game of light and shadow. Furthermore, modern compact LED technology provides a high level of energy efficiency and has a long lifespan.
Timeless design for ultimate flexibility
The indirect lighting range provides a wide selection of solutions, including the Antonio concept. This consists of two modernist profiles, the C373 that is 80 mm tall and the slightly larger C374 that is 180 mm tall. Combining these profiles and integrating LED elements creates a remarkable indirect lighting concept with endless combinations that strengthen the architecture of your interior. The clear, contemporary design of these profiles is the brainchild of designer Ulf Moritz, who has already placed his unique stamp on many of the other products for sale.
Antonio fits seamlessly into any interior and can be attached to the walls, ceiling or floors where the light can be directed horizontally, vertically or diagonally. This enables targeted control of where the light falls, allowing individual highlighting. The Antonio profile combined with a light source and used as skirting creates an extraordinary ambiance, its guide like qualities leading the way as it draws one through the different spaces. The intensity of the lighting can be controlled using various lighting temperatures to create a warm, cosy feel.
Overall, the indirect lighting range covers 21 different profiles, all made from a high-density polyurethane material that is extremely easy to install.
