Delivery Time & Charges:
Most items are kept in stock and are normally delivered within 3 working days, by national courier. However during the COVID pandemic, please be patient and allow extra time as we – and the courier network – are working at maximum capacity and delays are unfortunately inevitable at this time.  If you have ordered online you will receive an email despatch confirmation with a tracking link giving estimated day of delivery.  Delivery is normally between 9:00 am and 5:30 pm.  The driver is NOT able to phone ahead with an arrival time. A receipt signature will be required, so any preferred delivery date/address should be advised at time of ordering. For orders up to £150 (ex VAT), delivery is £15.95 + VAT and for orders over £150 + (ex-VAT), delivery is free of charge (weekdays only)  anywhere with a UK postcode, excluding the Channel Islands.  Please call us for rates to Jersey and Guernsey plus any locations in mainland Europe.

Returns / Refund Policy:
We act in accordance with Consumer Contracts Regulations (2014).  Goods in perfect condition may be returned for refund or exchange within 14 days of receipt, subject to prior written notice.  After this time we reserve the right to decline a return or charge a 20% re-stocking fee at our discretion.  Sorry, but no returns are accepted after 14 days from receipt of goods.  PLEASE CONTACT US FIRST BEFORE RETURNING ANY GOODS FOR A RETURNS REF NUMBER.  If necessary, we can arrange collection by courier as below.

Collection rates:  Order values of under £500 are charged at £35+VAT.  Order values in excess of this amount will be charged at the invoiced cost by our courier.   IF RETURNING BY YOUR OWN MEANS PLEASE CONTACT US FIRST TO OBTAIN CORRECT ADDRESS – ANY UNAUTHORISED RETURNS TO OUR OFFICE WILL BE REJECTED AND RETURNED BACK TO THE CUSTOMER.

Tape measures that were supplied as a free gift on £200+ orders must be included with returned goods.  If not returned back it will be charged at the full RRP and deducted from the refunded amount.

Although it is extremely rare for damage to occur during transit, please photograph and report any damage to us within 48 hours so we can arrange for replacements to be despatched.
